~ ~ History of Alipur Village in Delhi ~ ~ As the earliest known part of this village, it is known that the village was established by a person named Sri Pal who came here from Kheda Khurd in year 1368. The earlier name of this village was Haripur. Later the village was purchased by a Muslim named Sheikh Ali and hence it was named as Ali Pur. The history of Alipur village of Delhi shines with its fight against the British rule.
